According to characteristics of rich wind energy resources and sufficient solar radiation in Qinhuangdao, designs a hybrid wind power-solar collector-electricity heating system, and builds the thermal balance model and economic model. Setting the system operation cycles of 10, 15 and 20 years respectively, comprehensively optimizes the economic model with genetic algorithm from investment side. Comparing with coal-fired heating system, the results show that the multi-energy heating system with 15-year and 20-year operation cycles has better economic and social benefits, with a wide application prospect in rural residential buildings.
